2011 Lincoln Mark LT Parties in Mexico
Those Lincolns love to party, Cancun style. AutoBlog snapped this spy shot of the 2011 Lincoln Mark LT hanging out south of the border. The Mark LT (which, we are guessing, stands for Large-f-ing-Truck) is the offspring of a four door Ford F-150 taken to the level of luxury pickup standards.
In the same way Buick still brings in loads of customers in China, the Mexicans LOVE a Lincoln Pickup. According to AutoBlog:Turns out that the Lincoln brand still has a certain cachet in Mexico, and our neighbors to the south see no problem in shelling out a little extra for the honor of the badge. Don’t laugh, there are plenty Americans who routinely shell out around $50,000 for the same truck with a Ford badge.
The only thing that makes me laugh is that some people shell out about that much for a certain ugly looking truck called a Toyota Tacoma. Then there is that obnoxious thing called the Nissan Titan, which is just wrong, and a joke.
