After a successful redesign for last year, the Lincoln Navigator returns with some former optional features as standard. That does not include the long list of standard luxury features and other notable aspects such as comfortable, spacious seating for all three rows and a quiet ride at a more affordable price.

This full-sized luxury SUV is powered by a 5.4-liter, V8 engine that produces up to 300-horsepower. The only trim level available, it includes 18-inch wheels, a power liftgate, parking sensors, power-folding third-row seats, leather upholstery adjustable pedals, ten-way power front seats with heating, cooling and memory and a THX-certified 14-speaker audio system with a six-CD changer equipped with satellite radio.

Upgradeable features include 20-inch chromed wheels, leather seats with contrasting piping and towing preparation and a sunroof. The Elite package includes DVD navigation, and the Monochrome Limited Edition Package adds to the unique interior trim.

For 2008, the Lincoln navigator offers a rearview camera mounted in the rear liftgate handle as an option. Standard safety features include an electric stability system with Roll Stability Control, antilock brakes, side curtain airbags for all three rows and side-impact airbags for front-seat occupants.
