2008 Lincoln MKZ Review, Pictures & Video

Any generation can appreciate the value that a Lincoln offers in terms of comfort, familiarity and its array of features. The MKZ does just that, replacing the Zephyr this year, is Lincoln’s entry-level midsize sedan available in either front-wheel- or all-wheel-drive.
For 2008, the Lincoln MKZ comes with a 3.5-liter, V6 engine producing up to 263 horsepower. The only trim is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, wood trim, leather upholstery, heated and cooled power front seats with driver-side memory, dual-zone automatic climate control and a seven-speaker CD stereo with satellite radio. The Sync hands-free communication and entertainment integration system is also standard. New colors for the exterior are Dark Blue Ink, Moss Green, Vapor Silver and White Suede.
Inside the cabin of the MKZ are the somewhat blocky dashboard and less appealing satin nickel trim. The interior looks under par, but the extensive features and full usable backseat compensate. For increased cargo space, the rear seat is fold down at a split of 60/40.
All MKZs include four-wheel antilock disc brakes that come with front-seat side impact airbags and full-length head curtain airbags. Although stability control is not an option, traction comes standard.
