Two of the most common motivations for a consumer to be interested in a vehicle are luxury and, put simply, a truck. Luxury cars are all over the market, partly because it shows class; higher quality vehicles on a mediocre team of cars. The other grounds are that trucks are cool. You have a truck, you’re manlier; you need a big trunk to do your many manly things. So why can’t a truck be manly with class? It can, and it is. The 2008 Lincoln Mark LT is back for another year and possibly it’s last, in bringing consumers a manly, luxurious vehicle.
For 2008, the Mark LT has limited features for its sole body style. Although the crew cab body style can has a bed length of either 5.5-feet or 6.5-feet long. Loaded with features, the luxury, truck includes 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome trim, leather seating, power and heated front seats and driver-seat memory. A CD changer, 300-watt stereo with satellite radio and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls are also featured.
Running a 5.4-liter V8 engine produces 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque for the either two- or four-wheel drive Mark LT. Antilock disc brakes with electronic brake force distribution is standard.
